Tipsy Sundaze at Amici Bar with The Gypsy Jazz Project

 —  —

Amici Bar, 59 Northbourne Avenue, Canberra

After some time in hibernation, we have pulled together our most swinging tunes and are delighted to share them with you at Amici Bar!

Please join us on Sunday 7 Nov from 2pm, where Amici will be pouring the vino and shaking up the cocktails as part of its ~Tipsy Sundaze~ sessions, for an afternoon of chilled live music. Booking with the venue is not essential but highly encouraged.

Combining the evocative melodies of Eastern European folksong, and the driving rhythmic swing of jazz, the music of the Gypsy Jazz Project takes its inspiration from the Jazz Manouche tradition of Django Reinhardt. An equally fine accompaniment to dancing, a meal or drinks, the GJP will bring the spice that will get you feet moving. The GJP are Sverre Molland & Bruce Rose (guitars), Steve Rouch (clarinet/Vox) and Anthony Irving (double bass).
